FOR CAMBRIA COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT

Michael Wolfe.
For Cambria.

Cambria has been my home for more than thirty years. I’m running for our Community Services District board to help look after the services we all depend on. I’d be grateful for your vote.

MY PRIORITIES FOR CAMBRIA

The district’s work.
Where I’ll focus.

Water, wastewater, fire protection, parks, and open spaces are part of daily life here. Drought preparedness and wildfire planning need attention now.

01

Prepare for drought.

Drought planning needs attention now. I want the district to evaluate backup water storage tanks for dry years, explain the costs and practical limits, and seek grant funding without adding new debt for those projects.

02

Plan for wildfire
and evacuation.

We need clear fire management and evacuation plans before an emergency happens. I’ll push for coordination with fire agencies and emergency planners, with practical information residents can understand and use. For these projects, I’ll seek grants without adding new debt.

03

Careful spending.
Clear decisions.

Every district dollar deserves care. I’ll ask what a project costs, how it will be paid for, and what it means for residents. I do not support taking on additional debt for the backup water storage, fire management, and evacuation planning projects I’m proposing. I’ll listen to residents and explain decisions in plain language.

MEET MIKE

A working life

I got my start in fresh food at Williams Brothers Market while attending Cuesta College.

That work led to produce management, farming at McCall Farms here in Cambria, and eventually my own store, Avocado Shack in Morro Bay.

One of the things I enjoy most is getting to know people. At the store, that might mean a conversation with a grower or introducing a customer to something they haven’t tried before. Those relationships grow over time.

On the CCSD board, I want to bring that willingness to listen, along with the everyday responsibility of running a small business: paying attention to costs and following through on the work.

WHY I’M RUNNING

I’d like to do
my part.

I’m asking for your vote for Cambria Community Services District Director on November 3.

Cambria is home. The decisions the district makes are our decisions to live with.

I want to do the homework, hear people out, and help explain the choices in front of us. Preparing for drought and wildfire means discussing backup water storage and fire management and evacuation plans now. I’ll seek grants without adding new debt for those projects, and explain the costs and practical limits before decisions are made.

If you raise a concern, I’ll take it seriously and follow up. I’d welcome the chance to earn your trust through that work.
